Over 4000 passing with 29 TDs.

Ewers at 26 TDs before today, so he could pass Nuss with playoff TDs.

Nuss has an arm, but those stats are aided by our offense basically being almost all passing.

It's not much different than Will Rogers having that big passing yard season a couple of years ago under Leach or those Hawaii and Texas Tech QB's having ridiculous numbers in the 2000's.

Nuss needs to improve his decision making and footwork to truly be a great QB.

I’m sure he leads in attempts too

He had 75 more pass attempts than the next guy.

135 more attempts than 3rd place.

160 more than Jaxson Dart in 5th.

Same could be said about someone like Ashton Jeanty having so many rush yds… doesn’t really make it less impressive.

Y’all just refuse to be positive

For the record, Nuss is 10th in QB Rating... in the SEC.

Yet people harp on the interceptions. More attempts means more chances for interceptions. Yet still with the high amount of attempts, the completion percentage was still respectable. All this as a first year starter without a consistent run game.

Gunslinger....we all knew that's who he was......and that's who he is!

Nuss is our QB and I love it.....we should be real happy he is coming back.

Is this supposed to prove anything. Jalen Milroe, Diego Pavia, Nico Iamaleava & Payton Thorne have higher ratings yet they are shite passers. Matter of fact, Nuss has more completions than attempts in comparison to 6 of the QBs with higher QB ratings.

Are you asking if QB Rating is supposed to prove something when it comes to how a QB is rated?

Anyone can find a stat to try & prove their point, but I think the purpose of this post was to show we have one of the best QBs in the SEC, really in all of CFB, coming back next year & that’s something to be optimistic about

On what planet are Payton Thorne, Jalen Milroe, Diego Pavia & Nico Iamaleava considered elite passers on the college level?

You have to understand that standards are being invented and changed to paint Nuss in a certain light. You never saw people suggesting that Mett was better than Rohan or Jamarcus because their volume of passes was higher. You never had fans dismissing yards, TDs, passer rating, yards per game or yards per play to suggest that INTs cancelled every other stat. Matt Flynn is a celebrated QB, look at the numbers and ask yourself if he’s ever been attacked the way Nuss is.

There's more to QB play than throwing the ball a bunch.
