Look I know this is his first year of being a starter but he just makes it that much harder by not taking what the defense gives him. The threat of him not running when the 10 or 15 yards are right in front of him just makes it more difficult for him by throwing more picks or making bad decisions. The defense just plays coverage and linebackers stay in their assignments. Brutal watching him throwing into tight coverages or not taking the easy throws or running the ball when nobody is in front of him. We can win the remaining games but teams know that Nuss doesn't run so be prepared for the same results against the upcoming defenses.

All true but win we run for 24 yards you can't win no matter who is the QB

First INT was all of his fault. The second was Slones calling the third there wasn't any way to go up the middle. But good luck with that silly theory.

He’s an average qb with a bird brain

He sucks

I remember idiots trying to tell me he was better than sanders at Colorado

LSU is undefeated with Sanders at QB

It wouldn’t be 24 yards if Nuss kept on some Read-Options and scrambles. Not only would you have 50 more yards from Nuss, but the RBs would have more room, too.

The second was a horrible throw into zone coverage. Bad play call doesn’t excuse forcing that pass

this.

Is it even an RPO if the qb never pulls the ball and runs?

Look Sanders has been a starter for 3 years and Nuss has been for 8 games. My point is why doesn't he just keep it simple and why don't the coaches push this point across? We all have seen Nuss come in games in the past and just let it rip. He is the starter now and this mentality needs to stop ASAP. Take the easy ten yards running or passing quit being stupid.

He was horrible tonight in the second half.

That said, the OL was pathetic in the second half, and I mean pathetic, the whole damn line.

The wrs were bad the entire game, nobody could catch the ball cleanly, and why on earth was Hilton targeted so many times, he doesnt even know how to time his jumps.

Special teams were a zero out of 100. Even the punting was bad.

Defense was horrendous in the second half. You watch next week, South Carolina will be ready for that little QB....take the points and bet the house.

Back to the OL, our run game was non existent, and Nuss made several bad throws but he didn't have a second to throw after midway through the third quarter. It was if the entire team thought the game was over and quit playing hard. Also, Nuss CAN run the ball, he just won't, and that is on him. He needs to come back, he could be a true superstar if he added that dimension to his game and it would free up passing game as well.

Overall a terrible performance by the entire team starting midway through the 3rd quarter. Dropped passes, missed scoring opportunities, they all added up to give A&M confidence.

That said, I truly believe that if LSU wins out they will finish 7-1 in the SEC and very likely in the SEC Champ game A&M will lose two games...book it

Yes, a racist Sunnydaze knows more than the Pro Scouts and ALL the top analysts of the game. Yes, he is much better than Sanders. Take your racist glasses off.

Nuss sucked last night, but it was a team effort in sucking as every phase of the game sucked in the second half for LSU, and our vaunted OL was pathetic. Nuss needs to come back, and add running to his arsenal. He can run, he just won't, and that is on him. But that doesn't make up for our OL, or WRs, our pathetic defense in second half, and the worst special teams I have seen in a long time. Hilton times his jump properly, and we make a couple of the field goals, and this is a different outcome we would have been ahead by 20 instead of 10.

Lmao yeah ok

Nuss is definitely better than the projected number 1 overall pick

Be fricking Fr man he’s completing less than 50% of his passes in conference play.

Only a delusional idiot thinks a guy completing 48% of his passes in 4 conference games is better than the number 1 pick

Nuss has no future in the nfl

This is fixable for him, and he should come back one more year and add that part of his arsenal. It would soften up the defenses if they thought he was a threat to run. It is there every game, all night long but he refuses to do it.

That said, the entire team shite the bed last night in the second half and special teams shite the bed all night long.

The last interception was a really good play by the defender sensing nuss had no choice but to dump it off to the back with the pressure he was getting. What happened to our great pass blocking line?

It sucks that they haven’t drilled the option to run into his head. He’s got a one-track awareness and it’s not clear he understands “bailing” with his feet fast enough. He really is a “is what it is” QB.

Well idiot, Sanders had started for two years when he came to Colorado, Nuss has not even completed one year as a starter.

Acrroding to your dumbass logic, and make no mistake, you are dumb, we should have benched Jamarcus for good after the 04 Florida game.

Now 2 years in the swac means something yet before he went to Colorado the narrative was he’s played against shite comp and he won’t be good at the p5 level

Nuss is not good man

You can say what you want about burrow and Daniels not being great until their last years but what they didn’t do in their 1st year was turn the ball over

Nuss makes some of the dumbest fricking decisions I’ve ever seen

Dude is completing 48% of his passes in SEC play and you think qb isn’t the problem
