Kid is talking like he thinks he’ll be the guy this season. Love the confidence

He's the best QB on the team right now. Hope this holds into the fall.

Loves LSU, Louisiana is home. Transferring has never crossed his mind. His dad has never called a coach a playing time

I like the way he runs the offense compared to the other QB's. If he can cut down throwing into coverage he will be really good. Hopefully with experience, he will no try to make things happen too fast, but I do like the aggressiveness.

If it ends up in Brett Favre type results I’m good with the aggressiveness lol

Listened to the interview. He sounds more like a redshirt senior than a redshirt freshman. Mature beyond his years.

I really loved his HS highlights and you can tell he's a QB that excels when the play breaks down, but he's starting to learn that some of the gun slinging plays he had in HS won't work in college. If he finds the balance between playing under control and creating opportunities he'll be a very good college QB.

Man, I'm totally OK if that is true but I'm hedging my bets on a smart/experienced/capable dude who played backup to Burrow and has proven that he can do the job.
Whether he'll stay healthy for more than a few games, that is another conversation...
