Saban ran the same offense too.

Is he a jackass?

They may have had the same offense but they had a different offensive game plan on 1/9/12 than they had in the 9 to 6 game.

Any one of us could coach a team that has 5 stars 2 deep at every position and win out every year. Saban has ruined the game of college football with his recruiting. In the NFL he couldn’t cherry pick players so he was an abysmal failure. He’s not a great coach, the NFL proved that.

The key to Sabans success is working with the best of the best talent.

Sure. His process is great but it’s success is predicated on superior talent.

That had to be one of the most asinine and clueless post's Ive ever read on here. You are seriously just tossing up your shoulders and saying "mehhh, all that success is due to HGH and steroids." That's the secret boys! We need to get ahold of this frickin magic elixir!!!!

To even sit there and suggest that our players, along with every single other college football program in the FBS, doesn't have a roster FULL of players that are juicing is laughable. It's a part of the sport. Bama does not have an "edge" in this. It's a level playing field in that sense. Saying Bama buys players, well there's some substance there, (another newsflash genius, every fricking program does, including our beloved Tigers. And if they arent, well they fricking should be), saying Bama gets breaks from the SEC and always gets the benefit of the doubt in any situation; well yes, that's evident. There are plenty of things to bitch out when it comes to why Bama is sitting on another mountain top overlooking college football as a whole over the last decade, but IT'S NOT because of fricking HGH when every program is doing it.

They then go through heavy steroid cycles during bye weeks and before playoffs.

"yea, let's run that "one week" cycle of TREN. We have a bye week here, I think we can "juice these players up" and get them really hyped for the big showdown next week!" Yea, that's not how hormone manipulation works.

What you are seeing on the field is slightly superior talent as well as vastly superior high end talent depth in the trenches. That is and always will be the difference with not just us, but Bama and the rest of college football. That's why Clemson has been able to play with them and beat them recently, they are the only other team with insane talent/depth in the trenches at the present time. Alabama wins because they recruit and because Nick Saban is great at what he does.

And any of the top 15 coaches in the country can do what Saban is doing with that talent. It's all about talent, not coaching.

Mix that in with not being afraid to go all in on recruiting Louisiana.

Meanwhile, we’re still trying to figure out the source of our problem(s). This is who we are friends.

Their recruiting process is so good that they can get players to commit to other schools and decommit last minute to screw them over royally.

Have you rewatched either game?

No they didn’t.

But look at the impressive offer list that our 3 star players have. And also I trust Ensminger’s evaluation of these 3 star players vs some over hyped 5 star future NFL stud.

People bitching about LSU not having talent, over the last 4 years LSU has finished 7,2,5,2 in recruiting rankings.
