How did we “run “ from the SEC? I don’t see LSU doing any running away currently.

I have no problem with them demanding it from the basketball program because they actually do have former pro players.
As long as the SEC pressures each team doing the same thing equally, I’m good with it. No logical fan wants former pro players in college.

Created the situation, went thru even after rule change (which i agreed with in basics).
Then, once SEC flexed, we didn't add them to roster, held off till after game, announced they won't be allowed, and filled our #s with others.

At no point did LSU say they would roster Wright and Lewis against SEC rules. They certainly didn't do so after the SEC tried to interfere with their court case (and bought themselves a preliminary injunction.) They never even said they would roster them after a court included LSU in the PI.
Only the SEC has been escalating the pressure. That is the fact that you apparently can't see.

The fuq you talking about? We went to a state court to argue exactly that situation. Court granted us the injunction so we could follow NCAA eligibility ruling. The judge did tie LSU to the okayers and said if they were on roster, they were stuck there (no later removing)
So we backed off and didn't add them, for several reasons.
I didn't say LSU "said" anything, except Lane did say words eluding. But I mentioned LSUs actions

Chat GPT has been 100% against WW from day one. I used to post jokes like his Mom must have got railroaded by WW and left her 5 minutes after without ever a follow up phone call, but now I'm starting to actually believe something like that happened.

That's why the hastily enacted rule prohibited only players who signed and/or played for the NFL, NBA, and WNBA. This rule carved out Wright, Harris, Pyburn, and Ruis while preserving the ability of other teams to play their pros. Sankey said he couldn't define a pro because he didn't want to say something stupid that would upset the apple cart for any team not named LSU.
