Looks like we have UCLA and Oklahoma as possibilities, cause ya never know who's gonna back out.
My top 3 are
1 Michigan
2 Ohio St
3 USC

Wouldn't mind a home and home with Oregon. Autzen Stadium is a great venue and atmosphere.

To me there's two answers to this question. One based off preference, history, and competition. The other is based off recruiting and 'spreading our brand'.

Fir the first one I like MI and USC on your list. I'd also wouldn't mind OU.

For the second one, with spreading the brand in mind, you want to look at population growth... which means young kids with lesser ties to the geographical area. And if anyone thinks this is dumb, just remember Miami and FSU in the 90's, Bama today, Michigan/Notre Dame in the 80's, etc. It matters.

Not to mention I'd like to take our defense to show up some of these high-powered teams that think they have it all figured out. That list:
- Utah State
- Colorado
- NC State
- Wazzu

USC

Our only non-conference opponent in 2023 is Army

We should play USC at home and commemorate the 20 year anniversary of the 2003 National Championship.

I'd pick Michigan as well. It would give me an excuse to visit a buddy in Ann Arbor.

Nebraska. I'd love that to be our "Rice" game this year. Late in the season and cold as frick in Lincoln would be awesome. Would love to see the Tigers play in snow.
