That camera angle was upsetting the hell out of me and was doing nothing to promote LSU, so I find that a legitimate complaint.

Regarding those damn Visigoth or "I only shoot beautiful things" commercials, enough already!

its amazing to me that people don't realize they have to say the shite over and over and over and over again because they assume that they have new viewers every night and they want to make sure everyone is up to speed.

I agree with you for the most part though...it's kinda the same thing with me and NASCAR. I've been watching ever since I can remember and since it became "popular" about 10 years ago, the broadcasts are unbearable. they assume that no one watching has any idea of whats going or understands any of the strategy or knows who any of the drivers are etc...now with all the shite fox does with the cartoons etc....i want to rip darrell waltrips head off.

Why complain about being a little redundant?

I didn't see much to complain about. But they did cover the same stories for all three games. Over a best of three series they could do some sort of mini story on each guy out there. It's such a great accomplishment to get there and they all deserve some recognition, even if it's dumb off the wall stuff. Give them each a chance in the spot light. I think a three game series gives you plenty of time to do that and not ruin the telecast. I don't mean a whole segment on each guy, just more of a chance for the fans to get to know each kid.

I thought ESPN did LSU a huge favor with all of the great comments about LSU. They mentioned the new Box and the facilities. They complimented Skip and Les every chance they got. Plus, they continually talked about Mitch and Chad as two sport athletes, showing clips of the football team. "If you're good enough, this is the kind of program you want to play for." If anything, ESPN really helped LSU out a bunch with recruiting baseball and football.

I agree it would have made sense for them to augment the provided facts with some personal observations but for the most part I was very pleased with the way they openly fawned over LSU. You're correct to say they lacked in professionalism but I suppose it didn't bother me all that much. But then I don't mad when Vern misses a name during football games.
I agree. I'm an avid LSU fan, have been for 42 years. I live in Ohio, work, and haven't been able to see LSU play but on rare occasions. I keep up with them through the rant and LSU sports sites. I enjoyed hearing some of the rehashed facts, some I haven't heard before.

Watching them in the regionals and CWS on ESPN was a real treat, so I'm not gonna complain.
