Now that I’ve seen what a post- stubborn Miles team can do, I’m questioning Paul

Loyal to a fault

I was coming around last year, I think I’m there.

what are the new school methods in baseball?

Mainieri needs to find whatever it is that drives him as a competitor and start showing it a little bit. I've grown a little tired of him throwing kids under the bus, sitting in the dugout with the whiney look on his face and just letting kids hang themselves. Hal Hughes is a great example. I'm sure he's a great kid and I'd love for him to marry my daughter and all but he should not be in any SEC line up.

He’s les miles 2.0, from his stubbornness to his ability to develop the talent in front of him. Need him gone and Alex box renovated

The lineup. The lineup must constantly be changed

His philosophy. TD Ameritrade and the new bats forever mind fricked him after what happened in 2013. He got there and watched UCLA pitch and small ball their way to a title and he lost his mind and started recruiting all high school short stops.

For one, you can start by hiring a fricking hitting coach with ACTUAL experience coaching. That changed this year so we'll see how it goes.

What exactly is he “stubborn” about that’s preventing the team from winning?

i think you're being a little hyperbolic.

this isn't a "new school method"

What is it with you people that have done nothing for LSU to constantly shite on those who have?
Do you feel LSU athletics owes you something?
Tell me how this debt was incurred.
TIA

How many times have you watched him pull a pitcher 2 batters too late?
How many times have you seen him take a hot hitter out of a line up because of the righty/lefty or lefty/righty match up?

Baseball is different. 64 teams make the postseason every year. An average talent team can beat the best team in the country with the right luck and circumstances.
The game has changed since skip has been here. Roster/scholarship limits and transfer rules make it harder to find the guys that slip through the cracks and end up playing somewhere like ULL or Southeastern. Not to mention how advanced scouting and showcases have become there aren't many top round talent guy that go unnoticed or under scouted out of high school.

Still wondering how the frick he couldn’t win one with Alex Bergman and Aaron Nola on the same team

A little but that's when he shifted to the speedy, smaller players. The next season we were hitting and running and moving guys over with bunts incessantly. He had guys like Scivique and Fraley laying down bunts routinely and they were terrible at it.

This is Marinara's year to get it right or move on.
