There are people in the know who have spoken to people on the BOS and people within the athletic department and the response to gauging interests from agents was not good. Which is why the President and the BOS pushed to promote Verge. Landry still doesn't like the promotion which basically means he will be terminated in June/July but they are trying to salvage the situation and its not working.
