I kinda feel like passing will definitely be his strong suit. I think he is more comfortable out of shot gun and without having to move his feet much. Everyone labels him dual-threat and he is somewhat athletic but he is far from elusive when carrying the ball. He has some straight line speed.

I keep hearing dual threat. Thing is, neither of our QB's are dual anything. They're not even single threat. Harris runs like he has a stick up his rear (and throws like it too). Sure he got a few yds, but ANYONE could have run those open fields for ydg. Jennings last year looked like he feared for his life. One touch and he would fold. I think we'd all settle for a single running qb if either was decent. We pulled two lemons. And when you do that, you either need an awesome freshman QB or a very good transfer like Mett was or both. Preferably both. Then you have a redshirt who already understands things once the transfer graduates in a year. We really need to evaluate who has a scholarship and listed as qb on this roster.

Up to the Bama game he was improving evey week.

Before bama game:
9-14
12-17
8-16
4-14
18-28
13-19
11-20

He threw more passes the last few games before bama but he wasn't really that much more accurate.

to be fair our wrs have dropped an assload of balls. Ball should have been fired right after the game.

Also true that our qbs aren't truly dual threat

however neither is good under center which is a problem. That is a major recruiting hole, les recruits the wrong kids for our system. Im not sure why this is so hard for him to understand. you get the kid that fits in your system. we should be after QBs like mett.

I like BH and have been a fan but watching him the last few games has been eye opening. He has a long way to go.

All of our QBs lately (except Mett) have regressed as they got older. They get sloppier, fundamentals get worse , and make worse decisions.

BH started doing that already this year. Thats why there's not many confident he will improve.

I knew I couldn't have been the only one to notice the well timed middle finger "chin scratch" during the post game presser!!!!

Um have you seen FR Jared Stidham or SO Chris Johnson at Baylor??? Those boys run circles around Harris. Dont give me this young bullshite. Harris hasnt been coached, plain and simple. He was awesome in highschool. Miles recruited a dual threat QB but refuses to leverage what hes good at, instead, he tries to force him to run Les' offense which is archaic.

Notice how the more time off we have to play and practice, the worse we play? If we had played the NC game 1/9 the following week we would have won IMO. I don't know what goes on but it's obvious we aren't practicing on sharpening our edge. I hate off weeks with this team. Same with bowl games. (lately)

Nothing wrong except for little to no pocket awareness and the inability to throw the ball accurately. Watching football through the years, I've concluded throwing accurately on a consistent basis is really important for a QB. Maybe its just me.

He wasn't "that much more accurate" because his accuracy was excellent for most games. His accuracy was over 64% in all of the SEC games before Alabama.

His efficiency was soaring, and his YPA was skyrocketing.

Needs an oline that can block also

That would help. But, he needs better coaching to have a chance. I don't want to see Jennings playing next year.

I agree though I do think Miles should've sat him one series to collect his composure after a bad start last weekend

Has Jennings played at all this year? It would be nice if Harris could get a break every now and then and get some sideline perspective from and help the coaches.

Thanks, Anthony Jennings fan. Yes, Brandon regressed, but Jennings was even worse. You have zero objectivity on anything LSU QB related.

If you haven't shown improvement with this many starts, it's not gonna happen.

Both guys in 2011 had their best yrs. as a SR.

Who knows bout Jennings since he was on the bench this yr. Hard to say with Harris since we only have one yr. as a started to go by.

No doubt we have had problems at QB, but to say "all" regressed is not correct. imo
