Are you 12?
Have you no compassion?

Actually, I don't believe in Brandon and you're foolish if you do. All the "believing" in the world can't substitute for performance. And at some point, it goes from being a dream to being a delusion.
Please grow up.

God, this place has gotten pitiful. Are you going to hold his hand if he throws an interception? Follow him to the locker room and cuddle if his feelings are hurt?
I have never seen LSU fans coddle a quarterback like this before. Jennings never got the love like this.
We want our team to be tough, competitive, resilient, but people are acting like little school girls because the guy didn't perform. Too bad. Man up, don't run away.
We criticize Bama fans and Saban because they demand excellence, but they win championships. Saban will bench a quarterback in an instant, and no one snuggles up to him and rubs his shoulders. But we're not Bama.

Harris can't make simple throws and makes bad decisions. If that's crapping on hin, so be it. If the pressure is too much for him and he can't perform, then sit without pouting.
Again, no LSU quarterback has ever been coddled the way he has on this board.

Yeah no. BH should be third string. Jogging off the field without shaking hands is complete BS. The dude had two years to get the job done. He couldn't do it. Move Lindsey Scott to 2nd team and be done with it. The kid would be in my dog house after that

Etling is the starter...for now..I'm excited to see what he can do.
But you can still encourage Harris to keep his head up, right.
Some people just like to kick a man when he's down.
I don't .

If that's how you feel you should switch your team to BAMA

If you look at the plays from when BH was in the game and the plays that DE had they are totally different. BH can run the plays in an open playbook not that same old tired playbook from last year, but they wanna keep it. Secret from everyone. That's why DE started to struggle also and threw his int. Open the play book and give all your QB's a shoot in a system from this Era. It won't matter who's out there. 2 worried about getting fired will get you fired LES and Cam just ball out and let the chips fall where tey may and stop making your QB's the most hated men in Louisisna. Fans we have to do better in supporting our team everyone. No one likes a lose that's true, but no one likes a friend that acts like an enemy even worse GEAUX TIGERS

That's a stupid response. Not a Bama fan at all. But Saban and the Bama fans demand excellence. It's why they win championships and we settle for coddling a QB who fails at the simplest things. He's not a kid and shouldn't be treated like one

JM, MF-coached by Jimbo
ZM-coached by Richt and crew and some JC coach that's likely better than anyone we've had since Jimbo.

This is why we are what we are.
I was playing quarterback in a high school game my junior year, had a separated shoulder and we lost.
I got a call the next day:
"Are you playing next week?"
"No, I have a separated shoulder."
"Good, maybe we'll win.'
I went on to finish out the season, played my senior year, we made the playoffs, and I got a scholarship to play quarterback in college.
If Brandon Harris can't handle this as a junior in college, that's on him and his lack of maturity and toughness. So, so hard to see people babying him. He's not a kid. Act like a man

. "The sad part is this kid has all the tools, but it held back due to poor coaching. "
If that's really true, what does that say about Etling? Who developed him after all this time?

There is a distinct difference between asking Harris to "act like a man" and being an a-hole just for the sake of it.
Harris isn't playing QB very well right now. At all. Taking it any further than that is unnecessary.

So because someone was a dick to you and it warped your sense of how people deserve to be treated that should be the status quo for everyone? Get the frick out of here with that shite dude.

That's the point. Criticism didn't warp me at all. I went on to play quarterback in college, got a law degree, lived a pretty good life, recently retired.
Tough times didn't skew my life. They made me better. If Brandon Harris has the maturity and backbone people believe he has, this will make him better. If he doesn't, making him the starting quarterback won't help.

Ya because he would light it up in a spread concept with his short yardage passing ability or an option attack because he can run the read option so well. Coaches my azz.

I still think Harris has a lot of talent and can contribute in a big way. His main problem are his fundamentals - bad technique and bad footwork lead to the inability to complete passes. This has now killed his confidence.
I blame the coaching staff. Harris has been here for almost three years and they haven't gotten his footwork straightened out??? WTF are they doing? Maybe this demotion is the wake-up that Harris AND the coaches need concerning his technique. Get that problem solved and we will see a new Harris.

He has had plenty of chances to show what he could do. He is not up for the job. Its simple it now goes to the next man up.
Still hope he has a great college experience and gets a good degree. He is not going to be a QB unless he moves down like AJ did. It is what it is.
If he wants to be a Tiger then stay and help the team in any capacity he can. Performance matters if it did not we would not keep score.
