This is who LSU is… dominant pitching the first two games of a weekend and we usually win. But then the third game rolls around and our bums have to struggle to throw strikes and get outs like high school players. Anyone thinking this would be different hasn’t been watching this year

All with Cowan and Evans sitting on their asses. I guess the plan is to save them for tomorrow when our backs are against the wall and ALL the pressure is on US!

I know everyone is emotional, but I like our chances in that scenario.

Our rag arms are marginally better than theirs so we still have a chance. If we make it to Omaha and stay out of the losers bracket we only need two starters.

Vandy hasn’t been successful in the post season for years. Texas was toast as soon as they lost their ace… not surprised

I don’t think they care. Started the year with GREAT expectations and are limping down the stretch. I am ready for LSU baseball to pitch again. shite you can’t put-hit everyone.

I’m not sure he does make it. He inherited Dugas - Morgan - Crews - Beloso - Thompson. He seems to live on hitting but does not seem to be detail oriented. I think Van Horn & O’Sullivan outcoach him and Corbin.

LSU fans have a tendency to think everything will be all right. After all, we are LSU. Just throw that yellow Jersey on, step out in the box and magic takes over. But that’s not true. I agree with another poster; JJ sacrifices everything for hitting. You simply can’t do that. It will bite you and it has. I don’t blame all the pitching on JJ. He has some injuries. But, his team does not hit in the clutch. They had a runner on 3rd today with 1 out in tue 9th. One sac fly scores the run. We couldn’t do it. They left The WAY too many runners on base. You can’t do that. Guys have to hit in the clutch and it’s not happening. This team isn’t close to Bertman’s & Maineiri’s teams.

It's so easy to figure out what kind of fan you are.

Have an upvote. I said the same thing in another thread. Those that disagree are trying to tell you that what you’ve been seeing all year is some sort of mirage.

Additionally, a 4-seed has come into our own ballpark and figured out how to put up runs better than we can.

Is it just me being a bitter bitch or is that strike zone bigger for the underdogs throwing 79mph?
