but got sucked in during the Bertman years because of gorilla ball.

These guys are tiny and can't hit. This brand of baseball is boring. Surely there are some boppers out there that they can bring in and at least make it entertaining if they're not going to win it all every other year.

Oregon St has a shortstop with 40 home runs this year? They've hot 180 home runs as a team?

Doesn’t have to be boring

The era from 1998 to whenever they created bbcor was great.

So no one is hitting 20-30 hrs a year in college? Even if it is a smaller number, I think with LSU's tradition, they should be at or near the top of CBB in HRs every year. The small ball is for other programs.

Didn't say that era was boring. Because it wasn't. It's boring now. The present day... Which is all that matters.

People forget this is entertainment. Make it entertaining.

That's what I love about the Saints, they can make 8-8 fun as hell to watch.

What I’m saying is, that era was a happy medium. If you were Matt Clark you could hit 30 bombs. If you were a great pitcher, routine pop ups didn’t turn into home runs.

The ncaa hates baseball.

College baseball is a terrible product and boring IMo. It’s only popular in Louisiana and some other states in the south. All the real talent from high school go into the mlb draft so the product is watered down

College players routinely make up the top of the first round these days.
