bama: better record, playing at home, better D stats, better O stats, great running game and media god as coach.

lsu: struggled on O every game (even sometimes vs tulane), new QB, OL and run blocking highly suspect, no running game vs decent teams.

noone sees our "want to win" and our D seems to be overlooked because of the bend don't break thing. when i say noone, i am referring to the people placing the bets and that is all vegas is.

i think our defence is playing good ball. thats not the question i have. im thinking can we score mid 20's on bama's great defence. it may take a turnover or two deep and maybe a run back on a punt.

Our team has progressively gotten better through the year. Someone that isn't a fan won't really notice. As a fan I saw an LSU offense at the beginning of the year playing a very basic safe offense. Not utalizing All of our talents! And I just saw a horse of a running back last game. It has been easier for defenses to play and prepare for us a one demensional offense! Our quarterback looks like he is very comfortable now and we are passing really well. With Shepard added to the equation we really have so many different ways of attacks now! It just took our offense a little while to bloom. Our defense was good to start with and is getting more dynamic every game. Alabama on the other hand has been so so on decent opponents. They should have lost last week twice! I think we are Now the best team in the country as long as we stay in rythem and dont get shook up. Which could happen at Al.

Easy, there, big fella. It was against Tulane's backups. Tulane's backups.

The betting line is based on the amount of money put on the teams. The book want to keep the total money wagered on each team as even as possible. That way they do not lose because they pocket the "vigorish" typically 10% over the amount of the wager that the loser pays.

Thus, if both teams have $1M USD money in bets, the book gets 100K from the losers after paying the $1M to the winners.

The line changes in response to the money bet on a team. More money on the favorite and the line increases to encourage people to bet on the underdog. More on the "dog" lowers the line. Has nothing to do with which team is better, rather the perception of which team is better.

These guys are not impressed with our offensive improvement, and feels a bad bamma is better than an improved Lsu team.

Our "improved" offense was against a bad AU team and Tulane. I don't think that has proved anything to anyone picking the game. Last good defense we went against, we couldn't pass for nothing. This game will be a true test for JJ and our offense to see if those were true steps forward.

do i think we can move the ball enough to beat them, Yes. But I expect a low scoring game though

Nycajun I understand your stance but I don't care If it was a flag football team. I was impressed on the way he ran not agaisnt who! He hit the hole harder than Scott, he kept his legs moving unlike Scott when hit, and was agile in moves. Besides he played with a lot of heart. Scott impressed me on his touchdown run this weekend with him driving his legs finally. The reason he impressed me is because he hasn't done it most of the year. That's just my opinion though.

Auburn is the only team we've played that has a winning record and they really do suck. Alabama should be favored. Our O still needs alot of work and they are going up against a good defense. That pressure alone can create points to cover up for a lacluster Bama offense.

It plays to our advantage to be the underdog. All the pressure is on the Gumps. Shouldn't they win? Shouldn't they blow us out? If they don't win or win by 9, what is wrong with them?

I think LSU can win but of course odds say Bama wins. They appear to be a better team. Do you watch the games?

My concern is that JJ does not freeze up when he see's the blitz coming at him like he did with Florida. If he does not and throws quick hit passes to the tightend we will loosen up their defense and we will win the game. It will allow LSU to throw down field to our WR's I think if and I say "IF" our offense plays to it's talent level LSU will win by 7 or more. If not and I say "IF" not then it will be a close game, because "IF" we slow Ingram down we "CAN" still win "IF" we do not turn the ball over.

I say LSU 34 Bama 27

I say
