I didn’t read all of that but even Archie Manning wanted his son Eli to redshirt. Not the worst thing in the world to come in, get adjusted to college, get your feet wet, etc.

O Miss sucked

get adjusted to college,

Howard graduates in Dec and will be on campus "adjusting" to college.
If what you call adjusting is working with bech and recivers 4 hrs per day.

Please don't forget, we won't have the same offense when MB returns. He will be starting fresh like Howard and Nuss
I simply don't see MB having some type of advantage. He's slow and often injured

Physically...Brennan posses NO tools that Howard doesn't equal or surpass already. NONE.
I would say Howard's arm us stringer (close) and his mobility isn't even a conversation vs MB. Howard way way ahead.

We don't know about his accuracy though. Whether you consider that a physical or mental trait is up to you. But my money is on Brennan easily winning any hypothetical battle with Howard.

And that's why he will easily start

I don’t think you can ever complain about someone who gives 3+ years and moves on in search for playing time.

If he were moving on to jump on a bandwagon like Ricks...sure.

But, that was never what Brennan was doing.

You talk a lot about how Myles is always hurt. With that logic how is Walker going to hold up against the SEC when he just got hurt playing against a bunch white catholic school kids? You’re also saying he has better football knowledge from high school than someone who has been playing SEC football for 5 years.
I love Walker and think he’ll be great but your posts are awful

He is, and several different injuries.

They fell on his leg and it broke from being twisted...and it was against Ruston. Do yourself a favor and Google Ruston defensive guys size.
But guess what, he didn't quit...he didn't put himself or his LSU career in front of coming back and being a leader and above all else, carrying his team to the semis...with the worst defense ever at StM. That's what fricking leaders do.
They don't quit, and they don't leave the team, period

I bet you thought the same if I would have guaranteed you Bech would start and be freshman all am

Dude, you're in for a pleasant awakening with Walker.
Brennan doesn't deserve shite just because he sat around LSU. He'll quit again

What you don’t think that he’ll be playing against guys that are the same size as Ruston players? Man I get it. You’re from Lafayette and love STM guys. I do too. Walker is going to be great for LSU. Myles doesn’t deserve to be a starter because he’s been at LSU for forever. He’s going to be the starter because he is currently the best quarterback at LSU.

The OL is going to be so dramatically improved it’s not funny.

The Jimmy’s and the Joe’s didn’t go with the X’s and O’s, and it killed our QB’s early.

A full offseason of Kelly and Davis

You keep bringing up walker's HIGHSCHOOL performance as a way to compare the two.
How often do guys look great in high-school and have high recruiting rankings and wind up duds at the collegiate level?
How often does a true freshman start in the SEC and do well?
im not saying MB is the next joe borrow, he does help bridge a gap between now and nuss and Howard being ready.
He has been through 3 OC's since coming to LSU so he knows how to adapt.
In 2020 he threw for 300 or more yards in those 3 games after no spring practice, limited fall practice and his no.1 WR opting out.
So cut the guy some slack and let's see what he can do with a competent coach running the show.

Can't wait for all of the "he should've just left" posts whenever he throws an interception next season.

You're totally right... everyone on this board will support Brennan if LSU goes 8-4 or 9-3 next season.

It'd actually be a contrarian to think that.
