We beat Miss St. and they just killed aTm by double the points so we have a great win and 2 counting winning in Auburn which is hard to do. So let's agree to disagree. :)

Still one of the most hilarious nights of me being an LSU and overall college football fan.

I think this is point in the conversation we remind you that the last time you won a National Championship the players on this team were not even born.

This year just has a 2000 LSU feel to it in a lot of ways. There were a lot of people (believe it or not including LSU fans) who thought that Saban was a dud. We had just lost to UAB the week prior to #11 Tennessee coming into Tiger Stadium. A lot of folks just thought it was a foregone conclusion that Tennessee was so much better than LSU and discounted it as basically an automatic loss. LSU beat that Tenn team in OT and the rest was history.

Maybe I'm just grasping for straws here, but man this week just has that same feel to it.

They’re way better than Auburn and look how that went.

I see the same arrogance Tennessee fans brought to their baseball program spills over into football. Why don’t you guys beat Bama at least once in 20 years before you start talking shite?

And our fans aren’t impressed by yours. Your best win is over a program that is in shambles and about to lose their coach.

Miss St isn’t about to lose their coach. In fact they just routed the preseason number 6 team. Please get your facts straight.

Did you forget about our win over Ms State? You dumb arse! Why are you on our page? Could it be because yours is so lame?

Florida is better than auburn and on par with miss st. I don’t feel our schedule is strong enough to nitpick Tennessee’s schedule. Especially considering they have beaten every team on their schedule and we haven’t.

I believe they are a decent team, but let’s be honest, the best team they have played is a down Florida and an overrated Pitt. Let’s not be quick to let their inflated numbers concern us.

Yeah, their schedule really isnt impressive the more the games play out. Its really looking like FSU, Miss State and Auburn are better tests than Pitt and Florida. Florida is like Auburn with them where the games tend to be close and wild regardless how good or better the other team is, i do think Florida is better than Auburn, for clarity. But FSU and State look better than Pitt and Florida.

That being said, like someone said on here already, having the number 1 offense in the country is legit. Even if their ranking is a little over inflated based on Pitt and Florida being overrated when they played. That offense is gonna score on anyone. Its not gonna be a scenario where we come in and dominate and find out Tennessee only looked good because of their opponents being unimpressive.

LSU will have to outplay a good team, and i think it will require a more complete game than they've done against FSU(obviously) State or Auburn. Sleep walking through the first part of the game could end it early unlike the others where they fought to come back.

I would argue a road win is better than a home win over Ms St, but that’s just a personal opinion.

Perhaps because our teams play each other this week.

Are you saying a road win over Pitt is more impressive than a home win over State?
