They’re on the field warming up so I would assume so.

Lol no you're one of the better baseball posters around. Except for that post you made on the recruiting board a couple weeks ago that Dutton was starting to come back down to earth just a couple weeks before he shoved against us

But Jones at 3rd and Brown/Larson at 1st just seems like such an obvious fit that it's worth a shot. I was surprised some playing time at either 3rd or Catcher wasn't part of the deal to get Jones to come back in the first place.

I don't care who is paired with; when he is talking, my viewing pleasure disappears.

to be fair it was trending that way! Then he throws the game of his life and every hard hit ball found a glove.

Just a brutal game.

Yeah, it's tough. Brown is clearly one of the better bats on the team. He's also a great athlete. Larson must just be super uncomfortable at first.

Pearson being in the lineup everyday throws a wrench into things. I'd rather Brown out in right and Larson at first.

It’s probably going to be Braswell back to third, but Brown needs to be starting over Pearson

Agreed, Larson needs to be worked back in but fricking Pearson stands in the way of that.

f Thompson can throw 87 down the middle every time, there is absolutely a roll available in the bullpen for that skill set.
Guys are too good now. One non-executed pitch and the game is flipped. It's not worth the risk.

I'd rather let the guy who throws 98 take his lumps and improve, even if it means he costs us a game or 2 (ideally midweek or early season) because it will help us in the long run. We're already seeing it pay off with Rizy and Williams. Schmidt is the next guy that needs to take that step. A guy like Thompson likely doesn't make a difference in the post season. No point in running him out at this point in the season.

It sounds rough, but IMO that's the reality.

Think of it like this - look at Eric Walker. His freshman year he was around 88-90 and was spotting things up perfectly. Was a great arm and huge asset to the team. After TJ, he was down to 86-88 and got shelled when he wasn't perfect. The margins are just too small in the SEC.

Rocco Gump is at the wrong school. He needs to be in Tuscaloosa playing for Bama.

Noots going to play a huge role down the stretch. People forget about him but he was highly recruited coming out of high school. Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t he hurt his freshman year.

Danny is so smooth with the glove. I can't wait until he misplays one with one hand (something that hasn't happened in 41 games) and the ranters come out with pitchforks saying he olays the ball too much.

Yeah injured the elbow in the fall and had TJ in the spring once they realized they couldn't fix it without surgery.
