Yea he swung at some bad pitches. I get protecting the plate with 2 strikes but those were way off

Even bad hitters will make you pay when you miss a spot or hang a pitch. Relax, it happens often.
The difference here is bad hitters turn mistakes into singles, good hitters put them in the bleachers.

Seems like we are taking way too many close pitches with two strikes this season, like to see them protect the plate a bit more.
