I think it’s a good call. Only pitch Evan’s tonight if the game is secure to get him some work before the supers. This way if we shite the bed tonight, we will have Evans for tomorrow and LR will be pretty much down to pitching position players.

If Noot is dealing he probably has a pitch count near 75-80 pitches.

Noot needs work. Evans and Cowan both seemed to be wearing down a little towards the end of the season. I think Jay wants to use them as little as possible in order to rest them up.

It’s actually the right play. LR throws their best arms to try to win tonight and you leave your best arm behind for their worst
