I'm gonna trust CEO here, because he has proven all of us wrong, I mean no one thought Brady would have as significant of an impact as he did. We just won The Natty, I'm going to trust CEOs judgment.

With that being said I know one thing about Pellini, man there's going to be some fire on the sidelines, to epic proportions. I hope it's the right call

Would be nice if you would explain how hiring a guy that coached arguably the most dominant front 7 we’ve ever seen would be a step back.

I would say it’s a terrible hire

Why would you say that?

Pelini's defenses were bad arse once he started blitzing. Crazy blitzing scheme too. I think he will be fine.

Dude, Pelini had very good defenses while he was here! He’s established and knows the program. So eat a bag of dicks

surely you can see that pelini is a bit risky. He has great upside, but he also has great downside. He's a lot like Canada.

Hmmmmm....one won a natty as an assistant and the other is Canada.

Terrible comparison.

Whoever thinks hiring pelini is wrong or taking a step back is crazy...won a natty at lsu with 2 underated corners in lsu history in zenon and chevis Jackson...only knock is is he currently privy to the spread offenses other than that he checks all the he boxes...and for those wondering about his character. Coach o don't play that shite and ego will be checked before entering the ops building

I was never vocal about O one way or the other. Pelini is not on the same level as O. He will drive the fan base nuts. He would be a disappointing hire.

Dude he won a national championship here and our defenses were always very good under him as DC at LSU. He wouldn't be a bad hire. Where someone of you people come from?

the question is, would a 2008 scheme work now? no, has learned to adapt defenses to modern offenses? IDK

Even if you don't like him, you have to admit that the Faux Pelini twitter account would produce quality content if he were to return.

He's been active in the game the whole time, and has evolved much more and has more knowledge of the game than either you or I. He is very smart, is not tied to any certain philosophy that becomes outdated, and would be an awesome hire.

I agree with you for the reason that I just don't like Pelini's style of defense. He's not an attacking type of guy, and people that are saying that he is are wrong as usual.
