For the FSU game we are Staying on N Peters St right next to harrahs. We will probably Uber to the game. However leaving the game is my question. What is the safest way to make it back to the condo? Can’t imagine walking around at 10:30PM is all that safe. How expensive are Ubers normally leaving the dome? Sorry for the hundred questions.

Police escort, probably a little expensive but much safer than walking

There will be a shite ton of people walking around those streets at the same time. You'll be fine.

ETA: Ubers will be hella expensive.

You’ll be fine.

An Uber that close… $10 but you’re like 11 blocks away.

You can walk with the tens of thousands of others after the game.

quote:

Sad that we have to worry about this. City has turned into a cesspool pit.

It’s no different than it’s ever been. You just know about it more because of social media.

Go and have fun, stop worrying.

You aren’t walking down a back alley all by yourself. You’ll be surrounded by others doing the same thing.

Just walk back. It will be very safe given the droves of people everywhere.

Do not walk ’ around that area. Check police reports , quite a few arm robberies and assaults in that area lately.

You will sit in that Uber for an hour instead of just walking 20 minutes

If leaving the dome with thousands of others at 10:30 is that big of a concern maybe just sit this one out

You can definitely walk. You won’t have any issues. Be aware of your surroundings and mind your own business and youll be fine.

Follow the crowd and you are good. Driving is pointless after games.

Man some of y’all need to put ya big boy pants on. From where you say you’re staying just walk south past the casino to Poydras and follow it straight to the dome. Will be thousands of people doing same thing before and after game. You’ll be fine.

Not too much on New Orleans.LSU's going to win, you're going to walk home and have a great time with the rest of the tiger fans.

I live here in New Orleans and I am mindful of my safety. I agree with the others wh0 are saying that walking down Poydras to the Casino will be fine. there will be plenty of people doing the same exact thing. Like someone else said, just mid your own business and enjoy the winning atmosphere after the game.

PS, I would make sure you stay on Poydras all the way - just to be with the crowds doing the same thing.

Have a good time and GEAUX Tigers!

Ubers will be crazy. Finding and getting to our Uber after the NCG was a nightmare. Ending up walking more than 1/2 back to the hotel before we could meet up with our driver.
