Uh, I do however think everyone still has a right to voice their own opinions, though, yes?
What if our elected officials took that same attitude?
Wait....Never mind.

I am not a bitcher (In fact, haven't said a single word on the topic), but it is fricking absurd to make that argument of unassailable competence.
As if he hasn't done completely indefensible actions in the past.

Just curious, am I qualified to question Joe Paterno?

ETA: I'm not a grammar Nazi. Prom was attempting to correct me.

I thought that was the reason to have a board like this.

Just for the record, prom & just me, both are Les' & Les's is accepted as correct in modern English.
And I am qualified.
And I am qualified.

Let me rephrase that: "Everyone is able to question anyone." Some just prove their ignorance when they do.

In response to all the grumblings about JJ starting last Saturday.
Les Miles is a national champion head coach with a 72-17 at LSU (100 wins in his career). He has lead his team through one of the toughest schedules in recent memory so far to a 10-0 record. I think it's safe to say that Les has more knowledge, experience, and talent than any of the armchair coaches who spend their days posting on TD.com.
Thus, if Les deems it necessary for JJ to play, then I don't think any of us have room to question his motives or his reasoning.
This x infinity!!!!

quote:I've sad a MILLION times already Les has done a good job managing the games and the Qb's so far this year. You just have selective reasoning and comprehension.
The problem comes when someone like Tiger n ATL has been so awfully wrong about Miles, he can't admit when he is wrong.
The game the other night was HORRIBLY managed and planned, especially the first half. It's not unreasonable to make that assumption. They came out in the 2nd half and made some adjustments and improved it. I said that also.
Les has made LOTS of key errors and critical mistakes in the past that people are justified to point out, they are part of history you can't deny them and they aren't going away. So color me skeptical, but happy that we are winning.
I'll give him credit when he deserves it, and critique him when he deserves it. FWIW, I was a big defender of Miles his first 3 years here until the pick 6 debacle.

I understand where you are coming from. I know I have been a little extreme. We all want what is best for the team.
It just has seemed pretty crazy the last two days. Not you in particular but there are many that have a sky is falling mentality that really isn't warranted imo.
Last game has really made everyone kind of crazy

I'm just not a real big fan of absolutes.
And ISWYDT, too.
Uncommon Cents can question the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court... Yes, this is true.
