No need to worry about rankings.

Key is getting a top 3 seed.
Beat Tennessee, win out in the SEC, and make it to the semifinals of the SEC tournament and we will be a three seed.
As long as we are not in Duke’s bracket I will be happy.
I think this team is Elite 8 bound.

If we win out and make it deep into the SEC tournament then we may finish as a 2 seed

If this team wins out, that would give them a 15-1 conference record, and going to the semifinals would give them like a 28-5 overall record. That’s a lock for a 2 seed.

Agree, can’t see how we wouldn’t be a 2 seed if that happens.
Can’t see that happening, but it would be amazing. If the Tigers manage to win this week and then beat TN, (close or not) look for the outsiders to really start noticing what is going on. The tigers have talent, they all see that but once they get a couple top 5/10 wins people will really take notice of the TEAM.
Then the question will be, how do we handle the bright lights brought on by being the main event.
Can’t wait.

I don't expect LSU to win it all. That said, I think this team can if they play their best ball in the tournament and get a little seeding luck.
I wouldn't assume a matchup with Duke is an automatic L.
Probable L? Sure.
But I think this team is capable of beating anyone. That road win at Kentucky (who blew out #1 UTk) reinforces this.
