No movie could ever be as cliche as 2019

a kid looking for a second chance chooses the Bad News Bears of college football, a team mainly known for fricking up and squandering potential, under a cartoon of a head coach that half the fan base doesnt even want, convinced he can be the one to turn it all around and lead them to a title.
And he did it.
The mother fricker actually did it.
After going on the road and beating our evil nemesis, and then out playing the unbeaten prodigy in the NCG, while they all won every personal award along the way.
And then...
AND THEN...
In the post-credit scene...
after choosing LSU over the University of Cincinnati and leaving Ohio to start this story (those were his final 2 transfer options), he ends up back in Ohio as the number 1 pick by Cincinnati.
HE EVEN WENT BACK TO THE SAME BEDROOM!
Its not even a movie, movies are never this cliche.

You’re absolutely right.
I mean if I was writing it I maybe Would have made it the first NC since 1958 but everyone’s personal stories are straight up Sports Movie Cliches.

Agreed, but unlike a movie, there was absolutely no trickeration involved. No Flying-V. No Annexation of Puerto Rico. No Hidden Ball Trick.
The Tigers were so good that they didn't need any of that to beat you. Ever.

I mean, if I was writing it I would have included myself on the team

I’m feeling ya here. Who is playing Joe “BD” Burreaux and who is his love interest in this movie?

And Margot Robbie As my cheerleader Girlfriend.
And it would have an NC-17 rating for a sex scene .
But still

Bad News Bears of college football,
And you also leave out Clyde's story, which I think is at least as compelling.

...And if they would have beaten Ohio State in the Championship, it would have been bad cliche.
