In the spirit of the themed days of the week that Orgeron swiped from Pete Carroll (Tell The Truth Monday, etc), this is a “No Excuses Season”.

Corch O has everything he needs in terms of players, personnel, and support staff. Everything he’s asked for, he’s received, including his (second) hand-selected OC and a hotshot QB transfer from a better and more-respected football program.

I don’t want to hear any deflection from him at the podium this year. Good or bad, everything should be laid at his feet.

Don’t think anyone should disagree.

This is his chance. The talent is there. The QB, defense, new OC. A few spots of concerns i.e. RB, Oline, but we should compete with everyone on our schedule.

Let’s Geaux!

Oh there will be plenty of excuses from the usual suspects if LSU drops this game.

This is the msg echoed by those who want him gone. In the face of the toughest schedule weve seen in a long time, demanding no excuses and championships is ridiculous, and you know it.

Actually it's about average for last 5 years. It seems strong because of the perceived weakness of LSU preseason.

fl, st, au on the up. Bama comes in #1. GA is neck and neck with bama, Miami game 1.

This is definitely a much tougher schedule than normal. Every single person except O haters say this.

AU isn't on the up. They lost a lot of players. UGA lost a ton and it's a home game.

Miami hasn't won a game in their last 3. Mullen hasn't even taken the field yet. Just wow.

How is this year’s schedule the toughest? Doesn’t compare to 2011 when we played two P5 conference champions on the road and Bama at their house and an SEC championship game. This year’s schedule is tough, but we play in the toughest division of the toughest conference, so just about every year we play a tough schedule. I don’t see expecting to compete for championships as ridiculous. I do see making excuses before we play our first game of the season as ridiculous. And a bit sad.

but just to be clear, if you think that O will be fired this season if he loses 4 games then I hate to break your heart because it won't happen.

So Florida can go from complete dumpster fire to being a contender in one year just by changing the head coach but LSU can’t go from average to a contender by changing the head coach? Or are you just admitting that Mullen is a good coach and Orgeron is terrible?

There is zero nuance in your description, which tells me you have an agenda.

You do you. enjoy the confirmation bias you've set up for yourself
