We have the personnel now and whatever we don’t have, orgeron needs to go get in the off-season. He won’t get a ton of support if we don’t make the playoffs next year.

Nope. The media will have low expectations again and our fanbase will measure our success off of that for some reason. Every year the media will say we'll lose 4-5 games. Ed O will only lose 3 and people will call it a successful year. That is the new norm around here.

Travels to Austin to play,probably an improved, Texas team with another year under Herman.
Travels to Tuscaloosa
Travels to Starkville
And still has to plays host to Auburn, Florida and A&M.
You lose your best 3 players on D, and return a pretty subpar O-Line.

LSU doesn’t have the support to be elite anymore. Politics have played a huge role in why the era is over. Look for more of these type seasons. Time to move on and accept reality. LSU is not willing to be a consistent championship contender.
