This is the problem with the portal and NIL in college sports. Fans think this way. Let's say LSU MBB has a good season and make the tourney. Do you think those players will stay at LSU or jump to a bigger program or the NBA?
Dale kept Shaq for 3 years. Imagine if the portal and NIL were a thing in the late 90s, you think Shaq would have stayed at LSU? Chris Jackson? Teams are not built on longevity. Transfer portal and NIL are killing college sports especially basketball.

Lol if you think Woodward has any chance of being let go. I remember reading something a few weeks ago that had him listed as the 3rd best ad in the country .
Nobody is down on Woodward but a small portion of the small portion of fans that even think about firing ads

This is not a defense of CMM, but the inverse of LSU football is true for basketball - We have a lot of instate football talent that comes to LSU. There is not a large amount of basketball talent in the state.
