Bowl games are reward for a good season. An Exhibition almost. Unless you are playing for the title. Just not as important as an SEC game. For the players, for fans, it’s basically for a spot in the final polls which isn’t much.

If that's the case, he probably could have sat out the Rice and aTm game too because after the Bama loss, we were pretty much done for the playoff.

If he snaps his shin in half and never gets back to 100% and he ends up losing out on top 5 pick money, then is out of the league in 3 years because of the injury, LSU will not be paying him the $100 million dollars he lost by playing in a bowl game THAT MEANS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

You place team over family? Living and future? I don’t. And I don’t blame these men for looking ahead and trying to guarantee a future 99% of them never had, and many never will.
