Check NCAA defensive stats. According to their stats, Bama is actually a little better in PA than Auburn (not enough to matter). That's where this people gets his info.

1. We will get called for PI if we even look at their receivers, and as long as their DB's don't shoot us or stab us there will be no calls.

2. Joe will get hit late often and to the head and lower body with no calls, but Tua will have a 5 yard "Tom Brady" bubble that anyone near him will get called for roughing even if they don't touch him.

3. We have to go back to running warp speed on O, if we go up on them by more than two scores THEY WILL QUIT!!! The Clemson game proved they can only lead from the front.

So you looked at the one stat where they are close and decided that Bama is equivalent? Ignoring the fact that Auburn has played tougher teams to date?

How about looking at Red Zone, Third Down, and the countless other defense statistics where Bama isn’t even close to Auburn?

No way in hell. Jeudy is going to have a monster game. I am having nightmares of him getting 3 tds and 200 yards.

Saban always takes away the one thing your offense does best when he has two weeks to game plan. If this happens again we get blown out because we wont get more than field goals. Other posters keep bringing up 508 yards against Auburn when they are rationalizing how great our offense plays. Yards per play is the much more important stat to look at when judging offensive ability. Miss St and Auburn both slowed us down in terms of yards per play. Saban will have his defense ready and will make us one dimensional.

The only way we win is if its a defensive and low scoring battle, which I dont think we can do.

Aranda comes with a brown bag of dog shite and polishes that turd for the second half.
I will agree with this to some extent, as it is pretty obvious that Aranda's halftime adjustments are typically really good.

However, we have had some pretty good first defensive halves against Bama under Aranda. It has been the second half where Bama kinda pulls away, because our defense just can't seem to keep holding up when the offense can't score a single point.

I feel this year is different in that situation. Ensminger and Brady have two full weeks to prepare for Alabama. LSU is going to score this year, hopefully enough to keep some pressure off of our defense. There is no answer for Jerry Jeudy so we just have to try and limit the damage he does.

Will it be enough to translate to an LSU win? I don't know. But I feel better about our chances this year than I have the past 5 seasons. We actually have a shot this year. It's a nice feeling.
