But, but, but Alleva is one of the worst ADs in the country.

What's the price tag?

How long before she's back at Tennesee?

This is LSU, the AD, all the coaches, and all the players are just plain bad.....didn't you know that?

If she does a great job here it will be very difficult to keep her from going to Tennessee when Pat Summit retires. Which will probably be within the next few years.

Way to go, Joe. Great hire. Great recruiter who turned UCLA around very quickly. She will be great,

Be nice if Alleva stopped hiring Temp coaches.

Wanna bet? It's Skeletor, BTW. Cassandra Peterson is Elvira, and looks nothing like Summitt.

"Elvira"
the safe for work version..

Pat Summitt

I'm VERY surprised we were able to pry Nikki from UCLA. I honestly don't think that she's going to try and be next in line at UT. There's a few others in front of her in that line. She has the opportunity to basically build a LEGACY here at LSU that was basically left unfinished by Pokey. I think she'll be able to recruit just about as well as Pokey did and if she keeps Starkey on to coach the defense, we'll be back at the top of the SEC BY NEXT SEASON. Bank it.

This is a great hire by Alleva. ALthough I think Walz would've been better, I'm sure that he got Nikki for much lower than he would've had to pay Walz.

Found her bio at yuckla.
UCLA Bio
quote:

Caldwell joined the Tennessee staff for the 2002-03 season and became the recruiting director in the spring of 2003. In the fall of '03, the Tennessee staff signed perhaps the most prolific freshman class in the history of women's collegiate basketball. That class consisted of six 2004 high school All-Americans, including three Players of the Year. In '07, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) named Tennessee as the best recruiting school in the nation. In '08, three of the top 15 current high school seniors in the country (hoopgurlz.com) committed to play for Tennessee in '08-09, and five played in the McDonald's All-American Game.
