LSU just announced the signing of JUCO all american point guard, Dashawn Harden.

LSU Signs Harden!

Harden was recently selected as a first team WBCA JUCO all american. The incoming class now includes...........

Raigyne Moncrief - ESPN Hoopgurlz 5 star
Jasmine Rhodes - ESPN Hoopgurlz 4 star
Laquinta Jefferson - WBCA JUCO all american
Dashawn Harden - WBCA JUCO all american
Rina HIll - Japan U18 national team member (and player at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL)

All we need is another post player and this will be a complete class!

I was disapponted in Plaisance when I watched her against Penn St I think even though they still won the game. She needs to develop more aggression, physicaity. Too soft.

I have multiple sources confirming this. It is speculated that she couldn't qualify (grades) or her family needs the money.

Well then, if that's the case she didn't get drafted. She was actually recruited for last season's team but didn't qualify. So, they redshirted her for this upcoming season. So, I guess it's not far-fetched to assume that she decided not to finish school. I would imagine that she'll be playing in Europe then because, she's not on a WNBA roster. Too bad.

LaQuita Jefferson ain't coming! Period!

But......one of our freshman, Coco Baker ain't coming back either!

You couple this with the loss of the nation's top player, in 2011, Krystal Fortham, 6'4" and all that, we loss 3 all-americans and 7 seniors, between last year, this year and who knows who'll leave in the meantime.

I know this "Eight is enuf...errrr...Seven rather," but this is ridiculous, when you can have 13 on roster, or is it 15? This approach is flawed at best. It stresses out and injures those on the "thin roster," and the fans just do not appreciate the ridiculous cliff-hangers. Ms Caldwell may have sorta luck up in her first two years, CAN THIS CONTINUE?

Considering that some do not know, for 2014, we already have attrition of 2+2, two seniors and two who were cashing in on LSU Athletics but not retained, how long can this continue?

Don't stress on the content of this TRUE post, THINK ABOUT IT!!

Furthermore, when you look at this young bunch of coaches, all dressed to the nine's and ostensibly JUST THE COMBO TO RECRUIT ANY AND EVERY GOOD PLAYERS, do yall know we are turned down left and right, by players who opt for Tennessee (Nikki's dream school), Baylor, Georgia, Florida, Vanderbilt, aTm (with that trashy HC Blair), etc. IT BEGS MANY QUESTIONS.............why are we not really competing for the BIG GIRL JOCKS IN WBB????!!!????

Ah, I see Schleprock has returned!

Mistert we were wondering when you would bring your negativity back. I guess watching the team have so much success the last two months, was just too much for you to bear. So, now that one kid has decided to not join the team the sky is falling, eh?

Rest assured, the program is in good hands and the recruiting is fine (I guess you didn't check out the class we have coming in). Right now, we're not competing with UConn or Tennessee recruiting-wise this season, but we're certainly not doing bad. Just give it time. We'll probably carry 10 or 11 players on the team next year, and then recruit post players to fill out the roster in the next class. I actually like the fact that Nikki is weeding out kids who don't have their full commitment to their education and the program. Forthan was a head case, and Baker doesn't seem to want to follow the rules. The program is better off with them gone.

Time to get excited for next season. We've got a great team coming back.

Yea, he can't help himself. I know it was eatin' him alive when the team won those seven straight games and eventually made it to the sweet sixteen.
