I thought the helmets would be gold with the purple stripe and no logo. I thought that the pics of the unis that they released leading up to the game were crappy looking, but when I saw them on the field, I actually liked them.

Same here! The ones in the Nike pics seemed so plain. On the field they looked fantastic.

In the stadium you could not see the tigerhead or LSU on side of the helment. It just looked like plain gold helmet with purple strip.

I liked the gold helmet but if they could lighten it up just a little but not as light as ND gold, the stripes around the shoulders the purple was not pronounced enough.

yeah i really like the helmets. i kind of want them just to make it a permanent change but enough people dont like it that i doubt that will happen any time soon. just give it some time.

If you were in the stadium you could not see the LSU or the Tiger logo. The helmets were fugly.

They are crappy. Horrible Gold color, crappy jersey with no distinctive marks...did not look like a LSU team

I watched the game with a few people who have no affiliation whatsoever to LSU and four out of four of them said the new unis were tougher looking and they should permanently change. We all thought they looked like gladiators with those helmets. However, the "L" should be changed to "LSU" if it's kept and the purple stripes on the shoulders/sleeves should be more pronounced.

The helmets, cleats, and gloves were badass up close (I was in the front row). The pants were very, very cool too.

You're out of your mind. Our normally unis are pretty ugly. No one outside of a 100 mile radius from Baton Rouge thinks otherwise.
Last nights unis were pretty good. I just wished they would have changed the decal on the helmet. I liked the old gold color but we need to get rid of the decal.

ARE U JOKING or MAYBE JUST POSING AS A LSU FAN ... Get Lost, Those Uniforms Sucked , The Gold was to shiny, the Pants looked like a Some modern day wanta be Fads ... U Never Change the Logo !!! or the Helmet design !!
