"One of these days when you are playing around in photoshop, I would love to see the L.S.U. traditional uniform with old gold in place of the "yellow". I am very much a traditionalist, love LSU's uni just as it is, but I wonder what the old gold would look like"

Would love to keep this our permanent uni's. Just basically an updated style. All the while keeping the classic tradition.

Exactly...I have often wondered this as well, but when I asked was told that 'that would be too expensive because of the way the jersey's are cut.'
...Guess it goes to show that everything is relative. If Nike wants to do it, it can be done...if not, it's too expensive.
I don't have a problem with the Pro combat style of uniforms if that's what the players would like. I'm just against messing with our iconic, classic style.
(But I will add...these Pro combat's were the best I've ever seen a team, LSU or otherwise, wear. Now Georgia's earlier in the year...
)

We should start a campaign to get Nike and LSU Athletic Dept, to start making the traditional uni's just as they make the Pro Combat. Obviously it updates the uniform, but doesn't impinge upon traditions. A win/win all around.

I like it. You are a man with tradition in your heart. And you are right, the shoes do need to remain white or deep purple.
