Since I've been bored today, I have been playing around in Photoshop and I changed the colors of the Nike Pro Combat uniform to the regular purple and gold colors. I kind of like it.
I left the shoes the same because I couldn't get the color effects to work right to change the shoes to all white.
Helmet:
Added a highlight to the helmet:
Smaller version:
Regular LSU uniform for comparison:

They look way better on the players then they do on the model. The models never look like a football player haha.

Usually I'm against uniform changes but I wouldn't mind having that permanently.

Nice work. I'm really digging the helmet.

Why did LSU &/or Nike, on the regular unis, quit making the shoulder stripe continue down to the underarm? Past unis had the stipe that went all the way down & so do the pro combat. I think it kinda looks silly to have the strip stop at the shoulder.

One of these days when you are playing around in photoshop, I would love to see the L.S.U. traditional uniform with old gold in place of the "yellow". I am very much a traditionalist, love LSU's uni just as it is, but I wonder what the old gold would look like...........

Looks really good.
I wouldn't mind it because it does preserve the integrity of our classic unis.

After watching the game on TV after attending the game the uniforms looked better on TV than from the stands.

nice work. question, though (and i was wondering this during the game), why is the helmet black instead of purple? it looks a little out of place.
