good lord Scott Woodward is a dumbass for even interviewing Brian Kelly, the coach that literally no one was competing to hire.
I recall people talking about Scott like he was some genius AD for landing all these big name coaches and thinking, "I could do the exact same thing if I had a blank check to offer them".

One guy was smart, hungry & chasing excellence.
Incompetent people gifted the other guy generational wealth on Day 1 for accomplishing nothing. At least Saban earned his wealth.

Saban hired a DC with a great reputation. Three weeks later he fired him for not doing what he was instructed.
Saban replaced him with a young Linebacker Coach, on the staff. Muschamp. They won a National Championship.
