Too lazy to look it up but it is likely Auburn has about as many wins as we do over the last 17 years but your point is well taken. On a % basis, Clemson might be the only program to really duke it out with them, but that was only a 4-5 year stretch, I think.

To tack on to my own post: stop and consider that not once, but twice, CBS promoted our regular season match-up with Bama as “the game of the century!” Not bowl games, not championship games, regular season games between LSU and Bama. Kinda nuts.
