Is it OK if I compare JL's quick release and accuracy to Dan Marino's? JJ has been compared in the past to another big powerfull QB in the vien of another QB who played at Florida who also displayed an unconventional throwing style.
are you saying comparing a release to a complete QB is even near the same thing? No one in their frickin mind will say Lee doesn't have a quick release. No one in their frickin mind will compare JJ to Tebow either.

What are you shaking your head at? JJ as a true soph had a higher qb rating than Flynn as a 5th year senior. Flynn is constantly called a great qb on this site. he said JJ has always sucked. Just wondering if he thought Flynn did too.

I was unaware that there was ever a debate about JJ's arm strength. For better or worse, we saw the value of that asset for four years....

Possibly. It's very quick. Accuracy is another story. I don't think you can differentiate the difference between comparing his release, and comparing him to the player.

If you watched JJ play in '09, you too would shake your head. He threw the ball well to wide open receivers, but made poor decisions, took a lot of sacks and was poor at converting when it was needed. As long as your WF is open, and static, JJ throws well.
His ability to throw a football to wide open receivers will not keep him out of the NFL. It's the other things that continually reared their heads that will.

He had 8 more sacks than Flynn. Say whatever you want. JJ had a higher qb rating than Flynn. Period.

Only in an incoherent moment of fatherly pride

Also in 09 we had no running game. We ran for 170 only twice as ran for under 50 yards 4 times

He made none of the big, game changing plays Flynn made. Period.

Are you serious. In 09 our passing game was all we had. We couldn't run for shite. I'm not sayIn JJ is a great qb, but he hasn't always sucked.

What is used to measure a qb over a season? Qb rating. JJ's was higher than Flynn. Sorry you dot like that fact. Deal with it

Praising his arm strength. Saying you cant just gain that, you either have it or you don't have it.

He's not going anywhere...

Jordan balled out today. I was definitely proud of the tiger. I hope he gets drafted to a team such the Packers, Saints, or niners. A place where he can sit and be developed. JJ has all the tools in the shed, he could develop into a elite QB.

I actually wanted Lee to remain the starter and bring in JJ to run the ball and control the clock. I just hate poster taking shots at a TIGER who has done more for LSU than they ever will.
