raising the bar a bit are we? What if he jsut makes a practice squad somewhere as a QB? or arena league, canadian league, or any professional league as a QB? If he and Lee are the absoulute worst QB's of all time that some of you want to make them out to be then it would seem impossible that anyone anywhere would ever pay them to QB any team.

Unk, point out anyplace I said anything about hoping he doesn't make it. I told his Dad in another post that he should suggest to JJ that he work at TE-switching to a more natural position got Marcus Randall a couple of years in the league, JJ should consider doing the same.
That said, he did a lot during and after his career that made it hard to enthusiastically root for him.

His eligibility to play college football is used up, what he does beyond that is immaterial to me.

People should do either this or be happy for a former LSU tiger. Berating him just seems bitter, immature and quite frankly detrimental to the future recruitment process at LSU.

they just cant its 2 much like right..check out the false made up hate for jj n jamarcus russell,but matt flynn,matt mauck,jarrett lee are all american football players,all american good kids,so passionate,law abiding citizens,parents are great,they never did a bad thing in their lives, god bless their hearts..

Again it is what it is.. JJ was terrible as a QB in actual live game situations..

nahhh, Not all shitting on JL was just on JL...also was shitting on JJ because like stated, both are average QB's that neither are spectacular. Now reason for a lil of the JJ love I show is because 99.9 percent of this board bashes the kid when really he wears the same colors you cheer for. Gotta stick up for the guy we all root for!
