Lowery and Stang could challenge for a spot in the lineup. Doubt Stang ends up here though. Our pitching staff will be very strong next year in my mind. Just need a couple guys to step up and start, like ZVR. We are gonna be deep in the bullpen.

He can always get his degree. I'd be shocked if he passed up that kind of money and draft position.

I'm not saying he's moving, but it's just plain dumb thinking he CAN'T do it.
I didn't say he can't do it...I said he will 99% most likely not do it.

Do you want to know why Ott was never looked at to be a stater? Because he doesn't have the stamina. Plain and simple. He was recruited to be a releiver and hes a good one. No sense in changing that. We will be fine next year at the SP spot.

Ranaudo, ross, and 1 of the 20 freshman pitchers we have coming in... Most likely VonRosenshosenhose if he come here.

Jones' role will expand next year. Middle relief is my guess.

Use him to get to Ott.

How about Jones as the closer than Ott as a middle reliever

for this year

you said he doesnt have the stamina, which is just stupid.

he was a starter in HS. They decided to make him a closer this year, so obviously he couldnt have started games.

but one offseason of training as a starter, and he'll be fine. Prob by his the start of his JR year.

I would be shocked if Dean doesn't come back. The big money isn't there in the 10th round, and if it is true what they are saying bout PM basically guarenting him first base, he has a very good chance of drastically increasing his draft status next year if he can play decent field and return to the power hitting we saw in 08. I would def not bet against Dean coming back
