Next weeks court hearing

Wish I could be in a fly on the wall there!
Not only can our representation now present proof that we have rostered no players with pro ties but now can prove that there are six other teams that are playing players with pro ties or who were just straight up ineligible and they’re playing them anyway. What a great opportunity to call out the hypocrisy!
Secondly, I love that we have last week’s court testimony by our commissioner where they could not define what an amateur was, they could not define what a pro was and he apparently doesn’t read NCAA rules.

Since the SEC is suing LSU for pursuing pro players, I hope LSU puts Wright on the stand and asks him what other SEC were pursuing him.

Rece Davis made a good comment about this. Playing guys that went to NFL training camp FEELS wrong but when you ask yourself why it feels wrong it’s hard to have an answer that doesn’t contradict itself.

But but but, they signed a (employment) contract!
Omitting the part that the contract was never executed since it was conditional to them making the roster or practice squad.

It was filed in Birmingham. Subpoena every Alabama football player and ask them how much they are being paid to play…then ask the judge to issue an order forbidding their “professional” players from playing too.
