Someone please consider Glenn Cecchini at Barbe. I understand that he doesn’t have any college coaching accolades, but he needs to be considered and given a shot. 5A baseball in Louisiana is tough and go look at what he’s accomplished. I know SEC is a different animal, but if you’ve ever been around Cecchini, you would know that he’s a winner, competitor, and extremely hard-working. Go ask guys who have played for him in the past; dudes go to war for Cecchini! That’s what it’s all about; we all know of the talent LSU gets, but Cecchini will get push those dudes and have them competing like never before! Go look at the guys that he’s coached! Go look at his accomplishments as a HC at Barbe. He’s turned that program into the most elite high school baseball program in LA, and one of the most elite in the country. Man deserves a look! National championships will start raining down in Baton Rouge! He does NOT lose.

Does he have College coaching experience? I don't know how any Asst's are allowed, but he's not getting the HC position at LSU.

This is the year to get Corbin if there ever was one IMO.

He will NEVER have a pitching staff like he has right now at Vandy with rocker leiter and company.

Go out on a high note with those guys and go to LSU and get paid.

You’re 100% wrong because I don’t know him, and he doesn’t know me.

Prediction- McDonnell

I've seen Bakich mentioned in a few posts itt and it gets hammered with DVs.
Why? Do the DVers even know who he is? He's def in my top 4 if this was a wish list.

Oh, reason I think McDonnell is simply the only gut feeling I'd be happy with

This "One of us" and older former players idea didn't work with Jerry Stovall and Johnny Jones. Has it ever worked with anyone?

Should there be any candidates currently coaching in major league baseball?

I haven't seen very many of those names mentioned in these threads.

I like Bianco. He has a great record given the program he has to deal with and being second fiddle baseball wise in a small state--he has to beg home state talent to stay away from State. I like he is a Tiger and he knows all the talent in the Mid South.

I also really like Corbin and his record speaks for itself.
