Hope his parents and everyone else in his family get to drive over from Savannah and see him pitch and beat the stew out of Arky.

Their third starter would be my guess, Randall Fant

This is correct.

Fant's pretty good the 1st time through the order but usually begins to have trouble at some point the 2nd time through. Sending him out a 3rd time is almost guaranteed a lot runs being given up.

He usually goes 3-4 innings then we will use 3-4 pitchers from our pen to finish it out.

Fant is mainly a fastball/changeup pitcher for anybody not familiar with him.

With how anemic our hitting is who ya'll send out there probably won't matter. Us winning is dependent on holding ya'll to 3 or less runs.

Here's to a good close game.

Newman looked very good in his only start.

Newman will go down in the history books with Byrd, Bradshaw, and Cain for having a really random good late-season start.

Arkansas has trouble hitting the ball but not as badly as UNO. Gotta keep things in perspective. I certainly hope he shows out tomorrow though. Glad he is getting his first SEC shot.

I do not believe Sewald is on the post season roster.

Newman pitches to contact much like Glenn, in that cavernous park at Hoover I'd love it if he were able to go through the order twice with minimal damage then turn it over to a long reliever like Bonvillain to get it to the back end of the pen, Ideally we'd have enough of a cushion that we can throw Berry or LaMarche at the end but Cotton Rumbellow and Boojwah are all available. If we win then its McCune and the Kitchen sink tomorrow.
