New Upper deck for the North end zone = Tear down the Pmac?

if they ever wanted to expand Tiger Stadium again maybe adding an upper deck to the North End Zone and closing off the road. Wouldn't they have to tear down the Assembly Center to do this?

What would they do with Mike during such a construction? Not possible to leave him in his enclosure during such a project. David Baker would never allow that.

I'm all for North end zone expansion if it gets rid of the PMAC. Then build a replica of Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Yes, you're correct. I used to work in the AD and was told we'd never close up the north because we'd have to tear down the PMAC and mike's cage, and maybe the track to do it.

LOL, should we dig up the old threads from Rant "Engineers" that said we would have to close or re-route South Stadium Drive to install an upper deck on the south side of Tiger Stadium.
There were preliminary plans to upper deck the North end zone and it did not require any of that shite you mentioned. It included hotel type rooms and restaurants.
