The only shite that’s thrown at him as that “he got lazy” and wasn’t recruiting up to par nor teaching technique vigorously.

Can’t we all admit Covid period is not a reliable sample size. And it could be argued that it was nearly 3 fully impactful years of our life.

And that on his way out Raymond had Stingley and Ricks and that’s not what our corners look like at this very moment.

Sorry

Second part was shiny I thought.

The third piece is just what idiots say being lazy not looking back
that don’t realize those guys were gone.

He should be able to recruit far better than the coaches he is replacing.

The DBs at the end of his last stint at LSU did not appear to be very well coached.

Pretty straight forward statements that 100% of lsu fans should agree with. What exactly is your complaint ?

Are you old or drunk? Maybe both?

His last group of DB's were 3 stars that people said weren't coached up yet they're all in the NFL. They just weren't his usual 4 and 5 stars.

Take Stingley out of the equation. He was special before he got onto campus, and he went to Dunham. He was essentially an LSU lock. Raymond shouldn't be credited much there.

I didn’t like it when we let him go the first time. Orgeron & Napier were both dumpster fires.

Truth is no one wanted to see him do well at UF, but I’m glad he’s back home. I’m on board.

A lot of takes here going to age very poorly.

I’m over the moon as a fan to have him back. The abstract arguments that were made by 1/3 of fans seem to be silent. LSU is surging daily now

Can we agree that we are hopeful but there are certainly question marks? Importantly Baker worked here with them so if there are concerns Baker is aware of them and has a plan to offset them.

What I wonder is how much it is overlooked that Raymond served, during this "he started to suck" period, on two staffs that sucked: Ed O at the end and UForfeit with Billy Nappier.

Maybe the whole staff and product was dropped by the head coach and culture, dragging down even good coaches and players, not the other way around.

Working for an undisciplined O his final two years, I believe led to the entire staff doing as a lot of employees do, is getting by with what they could. That's a maybe but here's hoping CR has the fire in his belly just like BK. Play hard and tough with discipline and technique and good things will happen. Ps and please teach the DBs to tackle!
