7 am is reasonable to leave N.O. The campus is going to be crazy!

I consider parking behind the new Alex Box decent. You think that'll fill up before 1?

Louisiana has not so much of an minimum drinking age as maybe a height line requirement like for amusement park rides. Generally, if you can see over the bar, you're probably okay.

There are no drinking-age laws in NOLA.

Spend the night before in NOLA and come into BR early. Don't worry about food, there'll be plenty EVERYWHERE.

This. Bourbon St is fine but you must do all day in Baton Rouge.

The Hart Lot is ballin for gameday. It's the best free spot to park on campus.

For this game, I would leave N.O. before 9:00.

My understanding was over 300k people. This would not surprise me as I easily knew twice as many people who didn't have tix as who did... I would say this number is probably not a stretch.

Looks like it might be a late Friday/early Saturday/late Saturday. Life in the SEC I guess.

Coming from a geezer who went to both schools, I can only tell you that Baton Rouge is nothing like Gainesville. G'ville is not even better than Tuscaloosa. Have fun in New Orleans Friday night, but get to BR early Saturday if you really want to appreciate LSU tailgating. You will be treated well as long as you do not try to force Bacardi 150 proof onto anyone. Go Tigers and Go Gators.

Ummmm...no.

'07 vs. Fla. was probably around 140k which was incredible.

How strict is Bourbon St. with underage drinking?

I am not sure I have ever seen a sillier question in my entire life.

Yea I didn't get to appreciate it in 07 I don't think. We couldn't find anyone so all we did was walk around for just a little bit because we got there so close to kick.

Get there before 10 am and hart lot or the band field behind it should still have spots left. Don't even think about staying in N.O. during the day on Sat. You will have to park miles away. Tailgating and partying on campus will be unreal. No one is gonna card you on campus or on Bourbon St. as long as you don't act like a drunk arse.
