The minute it moves from Alabama is the minute the rant loses an ounce of fuel for the paranoia.

I go to that event every year. Please, SEC, move it OUT of Hoover!

Memphis is the best place for it.

Having it in Kennerie is no better than Hoover

Agreed, autozone is perfectly located for the occasion. Not a fan of Where the zephyrs play

Travelers stadium is pretty nice but I doubt anyone wants to come to Little Rock.

Every location has it's ups and downs. The New Orleans location is about the safest, and the RV parking situation is second-best to Hoover IMO.

IMO, the LSU contingent bring the most or one of the most amount of RV's anyways, so a lot less RV's would be needed if NOLA was the choice.

I agree Memphis would offer the best location for things to do in the immediate surrounding area, but Zephyr Field isn't that far away from the sights and sounds that tourists crave when they come to visit NOLA.

Stadium Journey

Just a couple of miles north of the ballpark will put you on a lively strip of Veterans Boulevard. This strip comes with two shopping malls (Lakeside and Clearview) and plenty of restaurants, hotels, and shopping opportunities. You'll have no problem finding quality eats in this area. A few off the radar locations I would recommend are grabbing a burger at Bud's Broiler or Frostop. Neither of these locations look like much on the outside (well, they don't look a whole lot better inside either), but their burgers are truly excellent and come at a price that won't break the bank.

New Nashville Sounds stadium is fantastic and probably the ideal spot of all cities listed.

Yes, because being 5-15 minutes away from: the Airport, Hilton, Galleria, Crowne Plaza, Ruth's Chris, Bobby Hebert's, Andrea's, Copeland's, Fury's, Legacy, Quarter View, Youngs Garden, Shogun, Augie's, Don's, Acme Oyster House, Clearview and Lakeside Malls; and 15-20 minutes away from: Audubon Park and Zoo, City Park and golf course, Magazine St, St Charles, the Quarter, etc. is so INCREDIBLY, UNBELIEVABLY. MONUMENTALLY out of the way....
