Area high school football coaches are unhappy with the way Orgeron handled the process, indicating that LSU’s first-year head coach took advantage of Juluke through the final weeks of the recruiting cycle to sign the prospects to letters of intent, then dismiss him, sources told SEC Country
I have to admit, I would be pissed at LSU if I was the coach or father of a kid recruited by Juluke.

It was shady and deceitful what LSU did. I understand others do it as well, but it doesnt make it right.

Oh for fricks sake, how about all these kids that commit and we sit here sweating until the ink is dry?

Recruiting is a nasty business on both sides. And none of us know shite about what O did or did not tell Jabbar.

Take the bleeding heart crap elsewhere. It's really nice to see these coaches putting their personal shite ahead of student athletes.

Anyone know why the Advocate or the Times-Picayune hasn't ran with this story yet?

There's something else going on with Craig.

Because they're legitimate news sources.

ETA: Spiegelman ran this story with no legitimate evidence or quotes from people that would be in attendance. He's trying to make a name for himself by being controversial by playing the race card.

If McMath wants to throw a tantrum with the rest of the children, release him and let him go on his way.
LSU doesn't need to release him. he can do that himself, big mouth. A lot of you asses are shooting off the mouth and don't know shite, don't know anything about what happened or about what caused this rift like myself. I know one thing, you start losing these top in state recruits and watch how fast LSU football sinks into gulf. So, keep shooting off your trap. I like to know myself why Orgeron released these guys because it sure seemed that way to me, that he just used them to hold on to these recruits and once he got the LOI's he dropped them like hot potato's. Just messed up.

Yeah... that's my point here. 1 reporter from SECCountry.com writes this article that would be national headlines everywhere, the reporter doesn't provide a source, and what do you know, we have 20+ pages of people spewing nonsense.

Why am I the first person to bring this up?

While Miles playing NO coaches game for overrated 4* athletes in Nola, he burned bridges throughout the rest is the state.

O has more bridge repairing to do in more important places. It's only the inner city coaches. None of the catholic league or surrounding areas. It's better to keep the state happy instead of 4 school coaches looking for another hand out.

I love how the new 'TD insider' doesn't know that St. Augustine is a Catholic school.

I don't know all the rules of TD, but this thread is 22 pages of garbage. I can't believe I read through all of that for a non-story

Because CFB is a business. Thats how its done. Thats why their contracts run through March. Get over it. Juluke and Craig both knew they were being let go.

Hopefully the local and national media will grill these head coaches.

If there is any truth to this, simply go above those coaches' collective heads to get them fired. I'm sure their residents would just love the idea of them banding together against LSU.

So you want LSU to get the death penalty?

Also Juluke and Craig both left their jobs last year after signing day to come to LSU. So messed up.

One thing Orgeron could have learn from Miles is how to fire someone. Miles would tell the coaches to explore other options which would be a more diplomatic way to tell them they are fired. Which would to the public seem more amibical.

This is one of the worst attributes of Miles.

Yea like Cam Cameron? Lol, his inability to fire people arguably cost him his job.

I'm not surprised a meeting like this was or will be held. This is the ugly side of recruiting. I'm sure those coaches will be rewarded by other programs for their stance, if true. It's sad, but I've said it a million times, the top elite players are bought and sold to the highest bidder and these coaches know that and take advantage of the situation.

Did any recruits throw fits when Miles fired a fired a coach?

This was one of Miles worst attributes? Really? Developing a passing game was by far Miles worst attributes.
