Doesn't Chip Kelly and Lyles know you never mess with MAMA's.......
This is why the shite's coming out now.......Mama Seastrunk is still pissed her son isn't in purple and gold with the respectable, honorable, Les Miles......
In waterboy, coach said what mama don't know, don't hurt mama.........
What they failed to mention is what mama does know makes the your world go.

So realistically, how fricked is Oregon? Are we looking at another UNC here, with the coach/star players being ineligible?

Well the NCAA won't like the contact 11 months later and attempted cover up for the 25 G's........that will really piss them off. It shows blatant dishonesty.

That is a stark contrast from LSU, which Lyles said sent him a checklist to follow when submitting reports for the junior college package purchased by the Tigers.
Their standards required written reports on two different dates and film on a continual basis over the length of the deal.
God, this is a great July 1st for Les Miles and LSU.

So could lyles be seen as a booster in all this? instead of being paid for recruiting services, hes getting paid for finding loop holes to getting kids to oregon. Like helping james figure out to become eligible, or helping Lache figure out how to get is grandmother to sign his NLI?

Naw, it won't be that bad.
The players appear to be relatively innocent of wrong doing. I think The Chipster might be in for a suspension, and I suspect Oregon will get hit with some limits on contact with recruits.
Of course, they are going with the Auburn defense stategy: "We Did Nothing!"

With the semantics of the booster rule, I'm sure they could.......

like I said the NCAA won't like the contact 11 months later and him sending them 2 year old info of useless material, not to mention, Lyles himself stating he was never asked for this information............

My understanding though is that he'd be deemed a booster in '10 and not in '07.

My guess is the NCAA is hiring.........
There's no way they have enough investigators to cover all the programs that are under the microscope right now....Tenn, UNC, Oregon, Auburn, McCoy's ex talking about Texas, any others?

IMO, Chip Kelly will end up losing his job over this, Oregon will probably be put on probation for a year or two, maybe some scholly restrictions/player suspensions, but no post season ban
just my guess
just my guess

The frustating thing: If Chipper just gets a 1 game suspension, then Oregon "circles the wagons" and "rallies" in the opener.
Why can't we just whup em the normal way?

Why do LSU fan's bitch so much about the other team? Who gives a shite if Oregon is not at full strength? LSU has plenty to prove this season outside of the Oregon game.

If the NCAA did not ask Will Lyles some of that obvious stuff/ key questions about Lache recruitment in the early May interview
...just what did the NCAA ask him about for 6 hours?

C'mon man.

LSU fans want to win the game first and foremost... but assuming LSU wins either way, of course we'd rather beat Oregon at full strength than a crippled Oregon team.
It also doesn't help that this could potentially be the second year in a row where this has happenned (North Carolina last year, LSU didn't get as much of a boost PR-wise with that win as they would have with a full-strength UNC)
All that said, I really don't care. I just want to win. We can't control what's going on with other programs, nor should we even be concerned with it as it affects us Zero if we win.

My guess as well. Pretty sure there will be some shakedown in the AD too. Oregon NEEDS to be proactive here.

"Lyles said his chief regret is not studying the NCAA bylaws to avoid mistakes that created this scandal.. That and trusting that Oregon was chiefly interested in his role as a talent scout, not a recruiting facilitator."
I hope this will be a lesson to all those would be scouts/recruiting services out there---Learn your trade!!
Lyles didn't even bother to educate himself to the very rules that were going to govern his chosen field.
This says more about this situation then anything else as far as I'm concerned.

Lyles is a fricking imbecile. At some point you just shut your mouth. The best thing he had going for him was that Oregon never threw him under the proverbial bus. Now he has enemies all over the place. I wouldn't be surprised to find that guy dead in a ditch sometime soon with the way he has slandered Texas. Btw, this is the same guy that gave prospective athletes information on NCAA bylaws but forgot to read the same ones governing his trade?
