I dont even think the "old" logo is what we wore in the 70s. (On phone so not sure how great it looks)

If they change the logo on the helmet, then of course not. But that doesn't constitute a rebrand, just a new logo on the helmets.

I've done commercial art for CBS television. I'm not worried about what you consider to be a minor detail. The list of consistently good football teams with consistent logos is pretty solid. And if not, show me one terrible team that keeps the same uniform and logo every year. It's the bad teams that are inconsistent. Not to be picky, but the Pelicans changed the whole damn franchise name. When the Cowboys, Packers, Giants, Raiders, Steelers, Bears ... any great team has to resort to those kind of tricks it's not considered a smart move and I don't know why people think it is considered a smart move for us.

If you want to drag in the Yankees to the conservation, even they have had minor tweaks to the uniform, logo in the past 100 years. People want to scream about messing with tradition yet fail to realize we have not worn the same helmet for the past 50 years. Hell Billy Cannon payed for LSU when we had numbers on the side of the helmet.

Unless you are about 6 inches from the Helmet you cannot tell what the LOGO is. What does it matter?

Well the helmet sticker has worked fine for the last 37 years. Changing it probably isn't the best idea. It won't win any games but it might sell a few tshirts.

Some of you act like they put Toonces on the helmet with a dick hanging out of his mouth.
I don't even consider the logo to be "changed" per say, they just cleaned it up a little. I am a lover of tradition, and I love what they have done with the logo. It is simply like restoring an old car and adding a few modern features. There is nothing wrong with that at all.
