I know one thing. If i had a parking pass on the south side of the stadium and have to head north to get home i'd be livid they made me pay for the pass this season before announcing these changes.

I'm sure that would have affected a lot of people's decision on whether to buy the pass or not.

Step 1: Hire consultants to advise LSU on parking and traffic congestion
Step 2: Take away parking and add more seats to the stadium
Step 3: ?????
Step 4: Profit

and on a few things he said they'll see how it goes as the season goes on which means nothing since lsu will likely not have a full stadium in the 4th quarter until late October. I'm sure they will consider it a success since traffic will not be bad at all for the first 4 games, even though the real reason will be because half the fans left at halftime because the game was a blowout.

Wouldn't it have made sense to announce this all months ago. Set up a exchange where fans can change lots with other fans if they so wish. If your pass is south of the stadium and you go north to go home they should have let ppl know.

What would make better sense is to cycle the lights longer and let people drive where they need to get to.

Get rid of the cops directing traffic.

I find it ridiculous that LSU is closing off a section of Nicholson to cars. They should do what Tennessee does. Allow pedestrians to cross only in big groups and if I'm not mistaken, this was done with a cop directing them. People should obey traffic signals just like vehicles.
